Just a bunch of fun pictures

I've posted a bunch of fun pictures that we took this past month. We're excited to go to the Dahl reunion in a couple of weeks, since there are still a few cousins Massey hasn't met. And just a quick update on us, Massey weighs 19 lbs and is 27 inches long. I've lost 35 lbs and believe that's all I'll lose nursing so I've started walking since I've still got a few pounds to lose, hope to lose them by the time baby #2 comes. Jordan started school again and is taking chemistry 122 at UNR. He works 3-9pm almost everyday...so I MISS him like crazy. So I'm going to my mom's right now, because I'm feeling a bit lonely right now. Love everyone that reads this!
Estas son algunas fotos que hemos estado tomando este mes pasado. Tenemos tanta emocion de poder asistir a la reunion de la abuelita Dahl en unas semanas ya que hay varios primitos que aun no conocen a nuestro bien. Pues Massey pesa 8.64 kgs y mide 68.6 c ms. Yo ya baje al rededor de 16 kilos y me falta unos kilos mas es por eso que ya empeze a hacer ejercicio.
Espero pronto poder bajar esos kilitos de mas antes que el bebe #2 venga.

LItttle Boy

So Olivia gave Massey these cute pair of pants and cute outfit that Jordan and Cedric used to wear when they were small that she found while cleaning behind her dryer. So I decided to try them on Massey and they looked so cute! not only that, but he looked so different! Like a different boy even. Or I don't know if he's hair and skin color has being changing... it's quite strange, but i's so fun seeing him turn into this cute little boy.
Also, he just got this beautiful crib from Sister Reener in our ward and I was finally able to use the beautiful crib bedding that all the girls at Anderson and Dorn gave me. Thanks girls!



Mi suegra Olivia le dio a Massey un trajecito que encontro detras de su secadora mientras limpiaba que era de mi esposo cuando era chiquito y se los puse para ver si le quedaba y apenas le entraron pero quize tomarle fotos porque se veia tan bonito y diferente. Parecia todo un niñito. Tambien quize tomarle foto a la cuna que una hermana del barrio le regalo, su niño ya la dejo y nos la paso. Asi que por fin pude ponerle el acolchado de cuna de me regalaron las muchachas de la oficina donde trabajaba. Esta muy bonito y me encanta!

We also bought a door jumper which Massey has never really used until a few days go, I think he's still a bit small but in a few more weeks, I'm sure he'll totally love it.
Le compramos al bebe un brincador que se cuelga de la puerta y no lo ha usado hasta hace apenas unos dias. Creo que en unas semanas mas lo va a disfrutar un poco mas ya que aun esta pequeño para el. Pero mi esposo lo puso y se veia bien chistosito en el.

I enjoy dressing Massey up for church. My cousin Theo gave him a coupleof ties which I love to put on him. He just looks so cute and funny wearing them.
Mi prima Theo le regalo a Massey unas corbatitas bien bonitas que me encanta ponerle a Massey. Me gusta cambiarlo para ir a la iglesia, se ve bien bonito y chistosito.

Pobrecito Bebe

Last weekend Darin graduated from college and we were invited to his fun graduation party. (Thanks guys) It was so fun being surrounded by such warm and friendly people. There was lots of food, fun entertainment and a friend for Massey: Toby! So Toby is the cutest thing, he wants to walk so bad and he makes the cutest sounds when he tries to talk. He also loves Massey; however, I didn't know how much he liked him until we put those two together.
All Toby wanted to do was hug and kiss Massey it was so cute!
La semana pasada tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a la fiesta de nuestro amigo Darin que se graduo de la universidad. Fue muy divertido; sin embargo, el bebe de Darin y Ross, "Toby" le dio el primer mordisco. Empezo abrazandolo y besandolo y me imagino que no pudo contenerse las ganas de pegarle un mordisco a Massey. La hermana de Ross y yo le tomamos fotos, para enseñarselas a Toby cuando crezca (no mentiras) . Lo bueno es que Massey no es rencoroso y ya lo perdono. En fin, aqui estan la fotos de mi pobrecito bebe.

Now, despite that little incident, we all had a great time. Jordan got to jump on the trampoline and I got to talk about girls stuff.

We love Daddy

It's so fun to go grocery shopping with Jordan. He makes it so much fun and easy for me. It's so nice not having to worry about Massey while I shop. We went to Winco the other day and my two boys looked too cute that I decided to take a picture of the.

Aqui estan mis dos amores afuera del super, fuimos un sabado de compras y es bien divertido ir con Jordan. Se la pasa de payaso y me ayuda con el bebe. Se veian los dos tan chistosos que tuve que tomarles una foto.

I also absolutely love Saturdays, Massey and I get to hang with Jordan all day. It's great waking up and seeing his happy face as he listens to music or plays his guitar.
Creo que los sabado es uno de mis dias favoritos ademas del domingo. Porque me la paso todo el dia con Jordan. Me despierta la musica que aveces se pone a escuchar o la musica de su guitarra. Aqui esta un pequeño video que grabo uno de esos dias.

A prepared person is worth two

There's an old Mexican proverb that my grandma Chuy used to say:
A prepared person is worth two.

She had such an appreciation for learning new things and preparing ourselves for the future. She also loved the Spanish language, she would always tell us how rich and beautiful it was. I learned to appreciate Spanish more after I took my very first Spanish class in college, I had forgotten what it's like to read Spanish poetry from Neruda, beautiful novels from Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Miguel de Cervantes.
So if there's one thing I want Massey and all of my future children to learn it is the importance of education in this life. I started by teaching Massey his first Spanish lesson, I want him to be bilingual like his parents. I have no doubt that he'll thank me later when he gets called to serve a mission in Latin America ( of course, that is if he gets to serve there, I don't know)
Anyways, I hope to teach him all that I know, and see him develop the many talents Our Heavenly Father has given him.
Recuerdo que mi Abuelita Chuy solia decir que "una persona preparada vale por dos".
Ella tenia una gran apreciacion por el poder aprender cosas nuevas y prepararnos para el futuro. Ella tambien amaba el idioma español, solia hablar de lo hermoso y rico que es. Creo que aprendi a apreciar nuestro idioma mucho mas despues de haber tomado la primera clase de español en la universidad. Habia olvidado lo bonito que es leer poesia como la de Neruda y hermosas novelas como las de Garcia Marquez y Miguel de Cervantes. Asi que si hay algo que quiero que mi hijo y mis futuros hijos aprendan en esta vida, es la importancia de la educasion. Es por eso que ya empece con Massey al darle su primera clase de español. Quiero que sea bilingue como sus padres. No tengo ninguna duda que algun dia me lo agradecera al servir una mision en LatinoAmerica (claro si lo llegan a mandar alla). En fin, deseo enseñarle todo lo que se y poder verlo desarrollar todos los talentos que Nuestro Padre Celestial le ha dado.

Massey's First Tie

Massey wore his first tie for church yesterday. We couldn't help taking a picture of him, he looked so funny and cute. I can't tell you how many compliments he got.
He's so big and chunky. Just check out the size of that belly.

Family Home Evening at Stone Hill

Well, we just a few weeks ago, during Maisy and Laurels' blessing. The Garcia Family went to Stone Hill and had an amazing family home evening (Jordan's idea). Of course, we had Brad and Olivia's permission. But it was so cool. My family is so cool too. Here are some pictures.

Hace unas semanas atras, fuimos todos a la casa que mis suegros estan construyendo y tuvimos una noche de hogar bien divertida. Fue idea de mi esposo y claro con el permiso de mis suegros la tuvimos en la terraza. Aqui pueden ver unas fotos de la gran Familia Garcia!
