I married a great Boy Scout

Jordan took his two scouts on a camp out a few weeks ago and they had so much fun. He gets along great with those boys and I'm sure they'll appreciate how much he does for them when they get older. I just thought I'd share some pictures with you, because Jordan really is great at scouting.

Happy Baby

Massey started to smile on easter Sunday and he hasn't stopped since then. It's super cute, so I thought I would share some pictures.
He's also getting so big, and his hair is getting lighter but his eyes are still dark. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures. Massey has also gotten so many awesome and special gifts that I'd thought we'd post pictures of them.

This is the beautiful blanket and pillow that grandma Olivia made for him.
Isn't it beautiful?
And as you can tell, he loves it!
And this is the blanket that Grand-ma Dahl made him with Aunt Jennifer's help.
Thanks Grand-ma Dahl and Aunt Jennifer!
And this is the fun play-mat that Ross gave him. He loves it!!
Thank you Auntie Ross!
All right I have to admit...he's not always happy. Here's some evidence.

Time for a baby blessing!

Thanks to everybody that came for Massey's blessing. We're very happy he could be a good boy and that things went smoothly. He would thank you too if he could talk.

This is the photo that uncle Sammy took. Good shot Sammy!
Bien hecho Sammy!

Massey's first Easter Sunday dinner! He loved it.
Massey smiled for the 1st time on Easter Sunday! This wasn't really the first smile, just the first that I caught on camera.

Here is Rachel, the girl that almost lost her knee in a freak Sledding-down-a-grass-hill-and-crashed-into-an-irrigation-box while visiting the Garcia family accident.

A note of thanks

It has now been 3 weeks and 3 days since Massey was born, I must admit it has been a big change in both of our lives. It's taking some time to adjust but it's alright, it's one of those "good" changes. Massey is such a blessing and he's already teaching us how to be good parents; however, I didn't realized how tiring the job of a mom was. I must admit, that I now love my mom even more.
These last couple of days much has happened, events which have caused us both to reflect on our own lives and have made us realize of the wonderful life what we have. We couldn't be more blessed. We seriously have the best life we could possible have. I truly feel like I'm not allowed to complain. I look forward to the many life experience that await us and hope to have my mom's faith and courage to raise the family which Jordan and I now have.

Now...a quick update on Massey. He had his 3 week visit on Tuesday and I though many of you would enjoy knowing that he now weights 11 lbs 9 oz and is 22 3/4 inches long.
He's about the size of a 2-month old, the doctor said. He couldn't be any healthier!

Finally some pictures!

Well, Hello everyone!
As you can tell from the videos, our bundle of joy finally came and we couldn't be any happier, he's beautiful to us and we love him immensely. I won't talk about my horrible experience of being in labor for 2 days and ending up having a c-section since after seeing his face for the first time, it was definitely worth it. Besides, looking at pictures is more fun! Well finally here are some pictures of our son Massey Rodolfo Anderson, who was born on Feb 25, 08 at 5:57pm, weighed 9 lbs 110z and was 21.5 inches long.

Ready to go out into the crazy world
Simply a proud dad
Massey loves this swing, that sister Reener gave him. Trust me he does love it.

Jordan and I had just given him his first sponge bath, I combed his hair and he looked really handsome.
We thought this picture was super cute, I think he likes our couches.

He likes grandma Olivia
He also likes Abuelita Mara
Check out the length of this baby, I still can't believe he came out of me!
Just cute pictures at the hospital. He's alertness has really surprised us all, it's really awesome.
